- Multiple
simultaneous modem or ISDN logins from the same dial-up account
will be billed at $1/hour.
- Month-to-month
dial-up accounts and account billed less than $50/month must be
paid by credit card. Checks are accepted for accounts billed over
$50/month.
- Billing
for web and dial-up accounts will begin when accounts are set
up. Billing for dedicated internet connections (T1 and ISDN) will
begin when circuits are turned up and internet routing is established.
- Renewal
is automatic until you specify otherwise.
- Accounts
past due will get a late notice.
Accounts more than 7 days past due will be charged a late fee.
Accounts more than 15 days past due will be disabled.
At 30 days past due, accounts will be cancelled and removed from
the system.
Returned checks will be subject to a $25 fee.
- Web
and dialup accounts may be cancelled at any time. If you cancel,
you will receive a refund for all prepaid months of service after
the current month, less any charges for overtime, multiple simultaneous
logins or disk storage. If you prepaid for a year, you will lose
any prepayment discount and will be charged at the month-to-month
rate if you cancel before the end of your prepaid term. Web and
dialup accounts cancelled during the first 30 days of service
will receive a full refund of all charges. As a security measure,
cancellation orders must be submitted in written form, via email
to support@his.com, billing@his.com, or by letter or FAX.
- HIS
is not responsible for telephone toll charges incurred by customers.
Check your phone book (page 16 in the DC/VA/MD Bell Atlantic books)
to determine which HIS POPs are local to you, or call your telco
business office.
